Starting SoonCertified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone (9 years +)Summer CampCourse Description: Course Description: Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. One-day class. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during break. Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Fortnite Battle Royale Academy: Building & Strategy Camp (10 - 16 years)Summer CampCourse Description: Students will develop essential Fortnite skills through expert coaching in building mechanics, combat fundamentals, and game awareness. Campers will learn proper editing techniques, resource management, positioning, and strategic decision-making under the guidance of experienced, high-level coaches. Through creative mode drills, zone wars, and competitive matches, students will build a strong foundation in both mechanical skill and tactical gameplay, culminating in a final tournament. All students will be provided with a progress tracker that they can take home to improve. Best suited for first to fifth grade students, this course will introduce kids to the world of writing picture books. The goal of this class will be to engage and enlighten students in the writing and illustration process. Throughout the week, they will learn the brainstorming, story drafting and editing processes, and the illustration and character development part of picture books. With author Q&A's and story time sessions during the week, students get to learn firsthand from published authors on how to create stories that have a lasting impression. Goals: introduce infants and tots into the aquatic environment and provide training so they can respond appropriately should they find themselves accidentally in the water.
